Lissa
Bounds
started in the residential design field in 1984 and
grew up in the home furnishings industry in Historic
Ellicott City, MD. Her first of four model homes in
Harford County, MD won 1986 Model Home of the Year.
Over the years, she has completed dozens of projects
including custom homes, historic homes, renovations,
additions, kitchens, baths, model homes, and designer
show houses. Project locations have spanned the Baltimore-Washington
metropolitan area.
Lissa ’s design education includes studio interior
design, historic architecture, architectural construction
and fine art at the Maryland Institute College of
Art in Baltimore, MD. She continued studies in fine
art and art education at Towson State University receiving
her certification to teach art in the early 1990’s.
She also holds a Bachelor’s of Science from
American University in Washington, DC and was the
Manager of Design and Selections for a regional custom
home builder specifying materials and finishes for
custom homes, designing model homes, and staging. |
